About

AI Safety & Ethics brings together people in Boulder and across the Rocky Mountain region to explore how artificial intelligence is shaping work, society, creativity, governance, and everyday life.

Our events are discussion-based, welcoming, and practical. You do not need to be an AI expert to attend. We invite technologists, founders, researchers, students, educators, policymakers, artists, and curious community members who want to better understand both the opportunities and risks of AI.

For those interested in yesterday's planning doc, here it is! We didn't get through these but there was a lot of discussion around what constitutes value and it's just not as easy as you might think to define and it's being redefined as AI gains more traction in our lives and workplaces.

Looking forward to seeing folks tonight at the library. Tonight's topic is Work, Worth, and Ownership After AI. Remember to RSVP at meetup.com/rmaiig-ai-ethics-sig/events/3… so we have a sense of who's coming.
